The WearAndTear pad is a simple, long lasting solution to prevent a gel-coat suffering from rope burn. Each pad is made from corrosion resistant, 301, stainless steel 0.002" thick. Typical areas subject to unsightly visual damage are cockpit sides and cabin tops.

The WearAndTear pads are laser cut sheets of ultra thin, flexible marine grade stainless steel supplied with a high quality self adhesive 'double sided' tape, enabling the pad to be fixed semi-permanently to any flat or curved surface; provided that the curvature is uni-directional: the material will not stretch to accommodate more complex shapes.
