Creates a Prusik Loop with an adjustable length eye.
To Step use Arrow Keys (). Set Speed using 1 – 5.
Uses: The Sliding Double Fisherman’s Knot creates an interesting modification of the Prusik Loop to provide an adjustable eye. For jewelry making it provides an adjustable length necklace.
Name: We have used the name Sliding Double Fisherman’s Knot because it was chosen by Jepson in his books1,2. However, others have used the name “Double Fisherman’s Sling”.
Structure: Laying the rope out as loose “Z” ensures that the two Double Fisherman’s Knots enclose the central part of the “Z”. When the knots are tightened they grip this rope to maintain the size of the two loops.
